Hi all.

Sorry, in a rush earlier.

I've been keeping fish for just over a year and having enjoyed the first 12 months or so I'm moving up to a 100 gallon tank over the next month.

My aim is to keep Anglefish in a South American setup, my only worry is phosphates, just need to ensure I won't have a huge algea out-break and I'll be up and running.

Mike.

HiYa and welcome MM

100g tank B) - going :alien: with envy

are phosphates bad where you are?

:)

Welcome Mike, :hi:

How many Angeks do you plan to keep in that 100g :alien: setup??

ANy others to go with them??

The plan is roughly as follows

6 Common Angels
3 Bristlenoses
4-6 Rams
8-12 Livebearers (either Limias or Merry Widows depending on availabilty)

That should be roughly half the suggested stocking level for 100 Gallons, I'll see how things go for a number of months and depending on water quality may increase the Angels.

Any other south american suggestions?

Mike

:hi: to the forum! I think you will find this site very useful and friendly. Once you got everything set up, take a pix and post it and maybe you'll get nominated for best tank! :D
