Apple Snails

could it survive 2 weeeks in a tank with no algea if it has one of those soft tetra holiday blocks to eat and living plants

Also would it hoover up the uneaten flakes as the platies seem to ignore anything unless its floating.

They don't really eat much algea, my apple snails are my tank hoovers; they eat all the food which falls to the bottom and the fish wont eat!

I think they would be fine with a holiday block

ive also heard of people putting a little piece of cuttlefish in their with the apple snails, helps maintain their shells
