Aponogeton

What is the bare minimum of supplies I will need to keep some Aponogeton alive. I bought some in bulbs at walmart and put 2 in one of my 3 gallon betta tanks and one in my 10 gallon. Help would greatly be appreciated.

Looks like Aponogeton's are quite hard to keep so not sure what success you'll have with it. But someone who's actually kept them may say differently.

Do you know the species?

I dont know the species because I got them in the bulbs at walmart but they're sprouting in my tank so when they grow a little I should know, Also on all the sites I've looked at and on the package it says they're quite easy to grow and good for beginners but I dont know. Thanks though
