well i got a bulb from the LFS about two weeks ago, and this plant is beautiful and grew fast in my 29 gal. the flower stem is well over 2 ft long and grows inches daily. the leaves also grow an inch or better a day. is it possible to prune this plant in a way that wont harm it, and possibly replant the pruneings to grow a second plant? i absolutely love the look of it ty ty for any and all help.

you have to remove the whole sleaf (and stem). You could try relpanting it but i am unsure wether it will work as it wont have any root cells.
