Apistogramma

I was wondering if i can keep alot of different types of Apistogrammas??

in a 75gal planted tank with wood and rocks??

or will they fight all the time??

You could keep maybe 2 or three different types, with one male and several females of each. It would make for a beautiful display

for that sized you could keep a pair of each apistogramma species available out there... It's not going to be cheap though.....

You do realise there are a few hundred Appistogramma species dont you?


The first advice was best, a collection of 3 different species with one male and 3 to 4 females for each male would look stunning.

You could do that, but the fish wouldn't have enough room to move

If you wish to keep apistos make sure you have enough caves and hiding spaces for all the fish
