Apistogramma Species Compared To Rams

when i last had a pair of rams they had a great set of personalities, and would always come up to you where you stood around the tank.

ive kept apisto agissazi (sp?) and they didnt do the same, i was just wondering if any body else knows if apistos have big personalities?
