here's some pics of my apisto male........he's been id'd as a "steel blue"

his colour was quite pale when I first got him but has deepened as he's matured.......it also changes very rapidly according to the mood he's in

had real problems getting an ID on him and a friend sent the pics away - turns out to be a 'steel blue' and his female ..... is another male...... which is why they live in separate tanks now

Nice pics Sue but I have to give a FOTM nomination for the little loach blowing a kiss in your third picture. I'm sure he was doing his best to steal the show!
