Apistogramma Hongsloi

Just picked up a pair of these from the shop 'cos they look so damn pretty!! I know I should've done the research first but this was kind of an impulse thing. Anyone got any information on this particular species. They're in a large tank with other dwarf cichlids so I'm assumin they'll be ok but I'm worried that tey may have some special needs.

hi,
they need soft, acidic water, pH around 6 to do well. but let us know how they do. they eat frozen bloodworm and live food more than flake

They arent the most hardy sp. of Dwaft around so need a mature tank with a lower pH (6) and soft water.
But, your male looks pretty happy!
