I'm just sat here watching my planted tank, i have a little cave made out of slate and ive noticed that my female is defending this cave a lot. The male is already in there but shes hovering just over the cave looking like shes on patrol lol. She has turned a nice bright yellow colour too, could they of laid eggs?

omg! really? so is the male in there to protect as well?

He will have done his bit now and the male will patrole the tank while the female guards the cave. Keep on eye on the male if he keep trying it on with the female it is not uncommon for her to kill him.
