Hey all!
I have a 20gal (2 foot long) tank that is planted (not heavily, but not lightly). It currently has (a plague lol) of endlers, 4 rummy nose tetras, 4 peppered cories and 5 Harlequin Rasboras.
I have been offered a male/female pair of Apisto Cacs. They haven't paired so I may have to swap the female for another one.
My filtration is currently a APS 2000EF+. Although that is being changed for the free filter that was given away by PFK recently (can't remeber the name atm, but it is more than suitable). I know that my tank is very over filtered, but the smaller external broke and the replacement is taking ages to arrive.
I am going to be moving on a lot of the endlers this weekend to my LFS down to aprx 3 females and 2 males.
Do you think that I can realistically fit the Cacs into my set up, or would it be unsuitable?
Of note is that the rummynose OR the Harlequinns will be joing a much larger group in a little over 2 month when I set up my 250L tank after I move. At that point the remaining shoal will be bolstered by 2/3 more fish.
Cheers for any input
