i have a pair of Apistogramma Agassizii in a 10g and today i noticed the female is attacing the male the male is missing the end of his tail and on his dorsal and anal fin it used to go into a loong pont and hes missin the ponts onn them now but hes not fighting back hes just taking it it this normal?

Sounds like she's bullying him, I know in larger new worlds the females test the males, to see if they're strong enough, but if he's up in the corner of the tank he's being bullied.
10gal is a tad small for them isn't it?
Hows the BN's I sent you getting on?

10 galls is fine for any apisto

he looks ok now. hes biting her now they always do it it was just this was more agressive than normal. but i think they might of paired up because there bothe splaying to each other then the male will go in a cave and she will follow then they go out side again and then do it all again. dose that mean they have paired up?
and yh the bns are doing fine.
