I'm 99% sure that they have spawned, but obviously I can't tell as its in a coconut cave.
After adding peat to the tank (their own 2 footer) yesterday and a week of live foods, they both popped into breeding colours , like the most vivid I have seen, and shimmied in front of each other and now she's in and out of the cave, always going back in to the same spot as if she might be fanning eggs? He's just swimming about as usual.
Now, how long would they take to hatch, when do I start feeding (when should I start a BBS batch off) and what other fry foods can you recommend?
Providing all goes well, unlikely for the first brood I know, will I need a growing on tank?
