Apisto Id Needed

OK I was just given this apisto when I buying some Macmasteri, the owner had been sent this chap along with the batch of Macmasteri but isn't too sure what it is, nor am I for that matter as he is quite dark in complexion to the ladies I have and not quite the same as the male fish I bought.

Can anyone ID him ?

I'll take a guess at Alacrina or Moae but dont take my word for it as I am thick as a plank.

Tough to tell from the photo. I find it really difficult to ID apistos properly, they can be really difficult. The fish does seem to look somewhat like A. macmasteri. Is there any red visible along the top and bottom of the caudal fin? It looks like a young fish so it may be a while before you can tell for certain. Could just be a variation within the batch of macmasteri you have.

Looks like mcmasteri, they are all over the place just now.

Nope no red to the tail, but the belly is now filling up nicely, but it an aggressive little so and so, the other two are a lovely shade of yellow so I think I am safe in presuming they are females, but this one has me stumped, I'll just feed it up and keep my fingers crossed
