Hello, just scanning down the tri-mar list on their website and noticed APISTO. BITAENIATA for £15 a wild pair.

I’ve done some looking on google and found pictures and a how big they grow etc. I was wondering if anyone knew if they would be ok in a community tank which contains danios, platys a few small tetras, a pair of blue rams and a couple of angels? It’s a 40 gallon ish tank which I will be upgrading in the next few months to a 4 footer.

Just any info on these beautiful fish would be great,

Thanks, Tom

I have no experience with that fish , but many apistos would work in that set up .

Though I don't know about Angels with small tetras , what kind of tetra ?

Angels get a bit larger than rams and apistos , much .

They're flame tetras so not too small, i'm aware of how big my angels can get, i am at uni atm but i have a friend in my home town who has already said he will take them off me when they start getting bigger, currently 3" in height.

thanks for your opinion,

Tom
