Api Test Kit (4-in-1) Vs Nutrafin Nh3/4 Test Kit

Results from the API NH3/NH4 test kit: 1ppm
Results from the Neutrafin test kit : 0ppm

My nitrate count is going up (over 20ppm now, was 10ppm a week ago), nitrites non-existant...

As the ammonia results are a 'key' result I'm wondering which one to believe - the bad 1ppm or the good 0

i would tend to lean towards the API as to me it seems more likely something can be more sensitive and pick up ammonia the other can't, rather than one picking up ammonia that isn't there

nod, having said that if I look up the NH3/NH4 balance for my ph and water temp the reading of 1 combined only works out at 0.000442ppm so not really a problem
