Api Liquid Testing Kits

Hi,

Ok so i went shopping the other day, 4 kids in tow, got pretty stressed out and picked up a saltwater testing kit instead of a freshwater. Is there a great difference in these apart from the high range PH solution, would it be ok to keep and use, or should I return it and exchange for the freshwater kit.

the re agents are the same, its just the test cards that are different, apart from nitrite. contact API for freshwater cards and they will send you them

I didn't realise there were different ones so just picked them up and mine have 2 cards in, one for fresh, one for salt. Apart from, as truck says, the nitrite one, which is the same card for both.

The marine kit doesn't have the low range Ph which you will probably need as well.

No, but only through luck-lol! I bought the 3 separate kits and they had both types of card in, so I was OK.
