Iv been cycling now for over 35days with ammonia stopping at 1.5ppm and no nitrite and nitrate.
my point is that my cold water tank has had no dechlorinator or anything just plian water
i was feeding the tank with daphania, after two week there was levels of nitrite and high levels of nitrate,
No fish in!
i then added 1 litre of water from my fishless cycling tank which has got dechlorinator in, i then added to the coldwater tank
tested 12 hours later, No nitrite and only 10ppm of nitrates which was about 80ppm before,
so it looks like the water from my tank which has got the reccommeded amount of dechlorinator killled the bacs?
