also do you have any idea's for the site, it's all about fish, any suggestions welcome....

:good:

no where near ready but if you really want to see it lol your choice, still needs lot's and lot's of work lol.

hope mods don't mind (it will end up with it's own forum on it maybe soon)

EDIT-not leaving the link anymore

:good:

I've got a lot. Dozens of them. Quality is another matter. I just had some film developed taken from a few years ago with some excellent 3 Spot Gouramis and younger Corydoras on it but they haven't been scanned in yet. I can also use the digital for some of my other fish if you need any corydoras (albino aeneus, panda, schwartzi, arcuatus, trilineatus, brochis splenden), Kuhli Loaches, Red Tail Black Shark, Clown Loach, Long-fin Zebra Danio, and an Acanthocobitis sp. Loach of undetermined species.

I'll be getting a few Lamprologus stappersi and Albino Bristlenoses in the near future as well.

definatly like the sound of pic's of clown loaches! any chance? any other pic's aswel... don't be offened if i turn them down though lol i'm looking for certain sorts of things in my head.

:good:

My Clowns are still young but I can get you some nice ones. You can also ask for the ones off loaches.com, most of the pictures there have email contacts in case you're interested.

well i would like a few pics of clown loaches swimming together as a group, nice planted tank (i will ask in the planted section) shoaling fish, fish breeding etc.

Can help you out on the breeding pics for Geophagus Brazilliensis (as on my avatar) - let me know what size (resolution) you want and I can email if of any use?

yeah use jordan.liverpoolfc.jones@gmail.com i'm more likely to read e-mail's on there.

i'm not sure on what resolution yet....

hope you dont mind, gonna give you some critique too:

on the "fish to avoid" increase the font size. waaaaaaaaaaayy too small. in fact, in general the font is too small, but with that shade of cyan, it becomes very difficult to discern the edges of the letters. had to use the old "ctrl+scroll on mouse" to make it larger in order to read.

you need to draw a little more attention to the menus. make it obvious that these are the menus. the human brain does not read every word on a page, so it becomes very easy to miss these. at first i thought there only was one page.

maximise your space for less scrolling. scrolling and scrolling and scrolling and scrolling is poor website design - its a fact people dont like doing it. 2.5 pages (a4 thought wise) before making them start a new web page is a good rought guide to maximum scrolling. but its better with as little as possible.

in order to minimise scrolling and maximise space, reduce those margins you have at either side of the page - they are HUGE and can be cut down to half that size.

hope this gives you some food for thought on your design, jsut thought id make the suggestions early on. easier to think about now that 104 html pages later.

well i've realised i may start all over again, different web making provider, and i did say lol it needs lot's of work.

i'm not sure i want to use freewebs as there's not that much i can do with it, i made the mistake of using the easy way instead of HTML aswel.

anyone help me out.

go to www.freeserifsoftware.com - you can download a version of serif web page creater thingy for free, thought to be honest its still not great. best thing you can do is learn HTML, DHTML & Javascript. (in order of importance.) failing that, download open office for free (www.openoffice.org) and use its document program (just like MS Word) and use the "save as webpage" feature to make webpages that look just like the document you created.
