Anyone Seen The Saw Trilogy?

Hello all, I was doing a quick search of Apple.com's movie trailers, and I found something that made me role my eyes.
I saw the first Saw movie, and it was terrible. A tad too much blood and guts for my taste. I saw the second one, hoping it would be better. I was wrong. It was worse. And when the third one came out, I didn't even want to see a trailer for it.
And now, I have found something bad.
The pshycopath Jigsaw may be dead, but not his series. I give you Saw IV. It looks soooo stupid. The background for the website is a pig for Pete's sake!
I swear, I will probably barf if there's going to be a Saw V.

Seen it wasn't that impressed with the second one.
 
I loved the first one, but i'd wish they'd stop now, its a tired idea and their milking it

Scratch that, on closer inspection, it's a person with a pig's head :blink:
I mean, I'll be the first to admit it: I love horror movies. But these snuff films that are just made about people killing each other is terrible! :sick:
I agree with you guys. They should've stopped after they made the first one!

You are to young to be watching Saw but yeah they are all rubbish, Now scream 1,2 and 3 are good horrors

And you are surprised how, remembering that the pig's head is worn when contestants for games are captured in one and two?

I quite enjoyed the second one, am yet to get around to watching the third one. I actually thought the premise of the second one was quite novel, almost a twilight zone twist to it at the end.

Scream? My god that was awful. I watched about 20 or so minutes, guessed who it was and had to sit through ages of teen tripe to be proved right. Scream isn't worthy of kissing the soiled and pin infested head of Hellraiser. I would take the outright violence of the Saw films over the contrite crapness of scream with pleasure. The only good thing about scream is that it spawned Scary Movie.

And for really good watchable horror, check out Peter Jackson's earliest movies. Any film with a kung fu catholic priest that gets turned into a sex crazed zombie is great. I really must buy Bad Taste and Brain Dead...

*wanders off to check sky movies to see if Driller Killer is on any time soon*
 
Brain dead is an awesome film haha.Using a lawnmower to decapitate zombies, great! :D I'm not to keen on saw films, the last 25 mins of the first one was great but the rest bored me a bit...Havn't watched the second or 3rd but apparently more 'stuff' goes on?

And yes, whoever thinks scream is good doesn't know horror lol
 
I enjoyed them on the whole. Some good twists, thought the 3rd was the best of them.

Should have left it at that I guess as there is nowhere to go.... but then again, I don't write scripts, so hopefully the 4th installment is cool.

yeh sure im under age, buh come on.....wha self-respecting kid actually RESISTS the urge to watch films they want to see for FREE!! please.....sky movies - i <3 yooh!!!
buh i must admit....Saw IV - yeh....they're deffo trying to make loads of money AND keep people afraid of hearing the word SAW

but quadrilogy sounds better in my head :p
tetralogy sounds like it should be the study of tetras :lol:
 
I've never watched Saw nor do i really want to, i don't really go for those blood and guts type horror films where basicaly the story revolves along the lines of "lets see what it looks like if we torture kill people in the most horrible ways imaginable!" -_- ...

I'm not a massive horror movie fan or anything like that, but there are a few horror movies which do make it into my list of fav movies. I watched "The Grudge" the other day, i thought that was a very good horror movie, proper vengeful japanese ghost style, it really gets you involved in the chilling story/plot, which is a lot more intelligent and sophisticated than stuff like Saw which is really just about brutal torture, gore and murder and nothing more.
