Anyone Know What This Is

ive noticed today that 2 of my malawi's have what looks like black lipstick around there lips? and also
looks to be spreading .

it looks like white spot but its black,also they seem to scratch againts the sand more than ive noticed before.

setup is

juwel rio 180
standard juwel internal filter
ehiem 2226 external filter
temp 80f
25% weekly water change's

20 x 2.5" malawi's

last thing that went in the tank was lava rock bought from the lfs 1 month ago

anyone got any idea's what to treat them for?

Small black spots around the head region of african fish is common as they get it from digging around the sand for some reason.
Theres also freshwater black spot thats a parasite as well and would look similar to ich, though black obviously.
