Anyone Know About Tft Monitors?

Hi folks, I am thinking about getting a new monitor, and I spied this one in comet but I cant find any ratings or reviews on it at all. its an EMPREX LM1905 UK for £130.

I haven't heard of the make, is this comets own brand? Also what does TFT stand for is it the same as an LCD?

i wouldnt worry too much about the brand because nowadays just about all electronics products are made in the same company and they just slap a logo on it and charge more

if you like it go for it, but i would look online for reviews first before making the final decision

err, wrong there a few companys that that do that as they are owned by the same people and even then the part used are cheaper and dont last as long

I'm useing the EMPREX LM1704 UK and not had a problem with it.
mine has built in speakers which is ok for basic sound files but not great for speach or song.

TFT = Totally Flat Tube

The emprex one looks quite nice thats why I thought I would go for it, but now I think I might bin the TFT thing and get a playstation 3. lol.

the empre one I was looking at though has a 5ms speed screen is that quite fast?

5ms is pretty good, certainly ok for online gaming.
