Anyone Know About Saulosi And Acei Cichlids?

i recently bought 2 bright yellow saulosi cichlids and 1 acei cichlids i purchased them because i heard they were smaller and less "aggressive". will either of the yellow ones changed colour if they're male or female? or are the males completely different? a bit off topic but is it true if a clown loach has faded stripes he is the dominant male?

Yes the saulosi will turn blue with stripes if male and can sometimes be agressive but you are right they are both quite small.

When you say quite small, I'd say average for mbuna. I have kept both salousi and yellow tail acei and they both reached 6 inch in size before I changed my setup. I don't think this is the limit of the growth especially acei in captivity.
