Madagascan, Indian or Lake Victoria cichlids?
I'd be interested to see some pics and hear of your expeirances etc.

I know there are people of here that keep Victorian cichlids Wolf, PM adambrum (I think that's his user name).

Aren't there only 3 Indian cichlid sp.? Green, orange and silver Chromides?

i recently saw silver chromides for sale!pricey fish.very uncommon in the trade and i think almost all habitat is lost

I have two male Pundamilia nyererei in my african tank with labs, acei, peacocks and afras. I don't have any pics of them because they are just starting to colour up. They hold their own in the tank. Lots of personality, cocky.

so I guess that no one here has a specific set up for these cichlids

do you think it is because LFs don't stock them or because they
are 'boring' cichlids?

Boringgggg, no. I reckon it's most likely due to most people going for Tang./Malawi. Also I've hardly ever seen Indian cichlids, only a few times have a seen Madagascan and never seen LFS sale many Vic's.

I'd probably consider the Madagascan cichlids as they are so rare, I'd like to try and breed them.
