Anyone have neon tetras?

I have 4 right now and I can't figure out if their behavior is normal. Mine keep chasing and nipping each other, it almost looks like they're fighting. I was under the impression that these were peaceful fish who hung out in a group and just peacefully swam around. I may be wrong of course so can somebody tell me if that's how neons behave?

I don't know what size tank you have but if there's room try adding a few more neons. I have 10 in my tank and occasionaly one will give a half hearty attempt at chasing another but basically they all hang out together and do just fine.

I have six and they rarely split up. They are peaceful and hang out.

they are probily deciding whos in charge lol they often do that after that thye will be fine ....
