I just bought some today and it's supposed to be safe for use with inverts so I'm taking a chance with putting my biggest and oldest snail back in his tank. The treatment is for finrot on two of my Pandas.

Has anyone lost snails (wanted or unwanted) from using this treatment before?

Bump. It's day 5 of the treatment and other than white cloudy water from the meds, everything is good. The Pandas are actively swimming around with the other fish, the snails are all doing good and I think this stuff is great. :D

I just hope it worked fast enough to stave off any permanent damage to the poor Pandas.

Maracyn is good for exterminating a blue-green algae infestation, often in just one dose. I've since lost all my pond snails (not too upset about it to be honest). I thought it was from the maracyn but I guess it's from dosing trace elements or something. Good luck with your pandas.

I have pond and trumpet snails in the medicated tank and so far none of them seem to have died from it, at least that I can tell. At any rate the all appear to still be moving around.
