im getting some fish but i m not sure what they like here are the fish

2- bolivan rams
2- cockatoo fish
2-male guppies
4-female guppies
2- honey gouramis
2-3 kulichi loaches
and some kind of algee eater

i have one big stone srtuckture in the centre of my tank that makes a cave with many entrances and exits but that is all i have ( beside all the other stuff u need like gravel and a pump exc.)
what do all they fish like for the PH and the temperature what whould you put for this tank and what would u put in it

im guessing they dont all like the exact same of everything so what whould be a good average that would make all the fish happy

Can you say how many gallon the tank is.

guppies will live in the toilet if it's warm enough. they are pretty low maintainence. khuli loaches like sand they are nocturnal and need lots of hiding places. As for an algea eater they need algea to eat places to hide and prefer faster moving water.

Heres what I got from the 2 books that I have. Make sure you check a few other sources to make confirm any imformation you get.

Hope it helps.

so i guess i whould put the ph at 6.5 that good cuase that is already what it is at

Try and find a lfs with the same ph as yours and make sure you no the ph of the tank they are coming out of, that they haven't altered there ph.

A 30 gallon seems small for all of those fish, I think that you would be a bit overstocked. If you were to put apisotgramma cacatuoides (cockatoo dwarfs) in that tank, you would have to pay careful attention to your water parameters. Cockatoos are not tolerant of medications in the water (so you will need a hospital tank "just in case"), and will not tolerate high nitrates for very long. They need a heavily planted tank, or you will rarely see them, and you will need at least one cave per cockatoo. Apistos also prefer soft water and a calm current.

I think I would pass on the bolivian rams and just keep the cockatoo cichlids and see how you do with those. I'd keep the PH at 7, seems safe for all the fish you want.
