I woke up this morning to one of my girls[the mother to my fry] having been a bit bullied, one part of her tail was completely missing - and although it was just a small part, I took her out to treat her with melafix just in case any kind of rotting was on its way. She looked a bit stressed, so that added to my concern. Apart from the he-she in the tank, there's no other kind of bullying that I've seen, and even with her/him its very minor - just a "get away from my spot" chase. But anyway, back on the subject - took her out and placed her in a container to float in the tank to keep her temp the same. Watched her for a minute, She swam up for air, then back down to rest on the bottom of the container - but then her gills started going like crazy with loads of bubbles and she looked like she was "choking" on something - and all this stuff spluttered out her mouth. Looked like bits of flake, except it was all white and some of it was all stuck together. Can betta's vomit? That's what it looked like...

My betta kind of vomited once. I was feeding him bloodworms in jelly (out of those little sachets) and accidentally squeezed out WAY too much. The betta was too quick for me and got loads in his mouth and started eating (it was gross, his mouth was all stretched with bloodworms sticking out of it). He ate it all but five minutes later brought the whole lot up (and I removed it quickly).

Sounds slightly different to your betta though as I knew why he threw them back up again and it happened only a few minutes after he ate way too much.

Had your betta just eaten or was this a long time after her last feed? Did you see what she might have choked on? How's she doing now?
