I've noticed a few of my guppies have this and are starting to die at a rate of 1-2 a day. Can anybody help me with this as Im getting quite stressed :-( with it killing my fish if anyone can help me at all I'd be most thankful

hmm is Tetrahymena fungal or bacterial?? -_-

try sending a pm to wilder he is the meds expert and helped me a ton

he is good with dieases!!

in the future id post this on tropical fish emergensies...

Thanks, I would have done but with it only affecting my guppies I thought iot may have been at home better in the liverbearer section. I have no idea if it is fungal or bacterial. will try to find out and post back a bit later.

definately post in emergenices, or PM wilder, but without a picture, the first things that come to mind are NTD (in which case there's nothing you really can do), or saddleback columnaris (which can be cured). If the guppies are in the tank with other fish, you really need to seperate them. Wilder will be able to tell you much more as far as meds go.
