Right, it really stresses me, it's my first attempt at a planted tank. I really want it to look like Themuleous (Sam)'s nano. I think it's beautiful, except mines going to be a 20 Gallon long community. For ever plant I bury, two of them uproot. Do you have any tips at all? And also I have no idea how to layout a planted tank, I really need help. I'm just such a noob!
If you want me to name all my plants and ornaments (for carpetings plants) then just post here and I will...

The tank looks like a mess, and I don't have anything to take a pic with! Maybe if I just tell you the plant names and you can do a drawing of a layout or something?

I take it your trying to plant some stem cuttings. What substrate are you using?

Just crappy sand, it's only for the timebeing, about 3 weeks. Then i'm upgrading everything up to my 20G with hopefully Tahaitan moon sand, and some sort of nutrient thing underneath.

RYO, I got your things today, but my mam gave the java moss away (what she called grassy stuff) to someone with a pond, she has now rung him up and he's trying to find it because it disappeared at work, so hopefully it's still alive by the time I get it. Stupid women eh?

I wouldnt know where to start with a layout, you should try moving things around. Use plantgeek.com to find out where the plants you have should be placed in the tank (click plant guide, then aquascape placement).

And i'm sure you Mom wouldnt appreciate you calling her a stupid women lol ;)...
