Well first off...a background.

What kind of lighting do you have?
I can't really tell, they look like they are, but...are those live plants?

You definitely need something large on the right side, maybe 1 more amazon sword or something.
Cover that rock....structure in the middle w/ java moss
scratch the coconut shell and slap a LARGE peice of driftwood there
maybe get some nice crypts for the front, middle leftish area, right between the rock thing and the plants, and all along the front of the right side.

I think the tank would look cool with some larger plants on right side, so a couple amazon swords, maybe some Vals along the left of it, and a BIG hunk of driftwood. Then move those bushier plants over to the left some more, put some hygros in the background, maybe just a couple, spontaneously placed, some more crypts in the foreground, and crypts all around that rock thing but cover it with java moss.

Idk, I just sort of ranted and flew ideas out of the top of my head. You definitely need to do something with that heap of rocks, either discard or cover w/ java moss, and get rid of that coconut shell and get a big old piece of wood and throw some swords on the right side.

what size is it and what do you have in it??

55 gallons

12 tiger barbs
3 khuli loaches (stop hiding!!! i knew i should have gotten cories...)
1 rainbow shark
1 bamboo shrimp
1 fathead minnow

ok well fistly fathead minnows are coldwater fish and shouldnt be in wi tropical and aslo shouldnt just have 1 of them!
shrimp may get eating by shark or barbs without enough hiding places
u could add a shoal of tetras or maybe some gouramis??

i personally dont think its lacking anything. i was gonan say it might seem that way because there isn't really a centre peice fish but you've replaced that with a shoal of tiger barbs. i think your tank looks lovely :good:
