Any Suggestions For My Next Addition?

Hi, im new to this site have got 3 neon tetras and 3 red eyed tetras, they tend to swim near the bottom and for my next fish am looking for some thing a little bigger that will swim a bit further up the tank. I have a 65 litre tank which isnt massive but all i could afford. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

your tetras are probably swimming near the bottom as thats where they feel safe, do you have any plants or decorationsreaching higher up the tank so the tetras have some where to hide and feel safe?

some guppys, or rasboras would go nicely in the tank

Yeh i have 5 nice plants ranging from low down to half way up the tank, im waiting for a lovely bogwood bridge off ebay so hopefully that will help them feel a bit safer. thanks for you advice it appreciated.

I would reccomend Harlequin Rasboras.

Very colourful and very active.

I find mine swim around the upper areas of the tank a lot to.

I just got three harlequins and boy are they gorgeous, they are lovely little fish and your right, very active and fun to watch..thanks alot.

I got some harlequin rasboras and 3 cardinals, the cardinal have shoalled with the neons, they arnt timid any more, they love there new gang and Im chuffed.
