i wud make it 6 of bth the shoaling fish and leave out the gouramis as thyll probbly die anyway

yeah i agree with rocknurworld2006.
best to keep the neons and minnows in a shoal of 6, they'll be much happier that way.

someone can correct me on this but i think wcmm prefer cooler temperatures than the other speices you've listed, so might wanna replace them with something else.

the minnows will be fine at 25 which is what i keep all tanks at will probs make it 6 of each sooling fish nut I have the wcmms allready and they need the tank size upgrade

Not all gourami's carry this disease.

that was my thought i think he will live in quaranteen for 3 weeks presumably anything would show up in this time

make the quaretine 4 weeks to be on the safe side
also definately get the 6 or more WC minnows and yes they will be ok at 25 degrees but they're life expectancy might be reduced it is said they live for 5-7 years in a non heated tank but i have a 3 year old (be 4 in april got her for easter a few years ago) old WC minnow and she is still spawning and happy and healthy
so i dont think it has drastically reduced her life in anyway - thats IME

good luck and let us know what you go for - you could always breed your minnow in the desk tank when you get a few more - minnow fry are so cute
