any one ever do one of those live bearer ponds?

I was reading an artical in TFH and thought that the live bearer pond, in the June live bearers unliminted section seemes intreasting. Being in Connecticut, I am not sure though if it would be a good idea to do one or not.

If any one did one I would like to know how it went, and any pics if you have them.

well it is a large bucket, say 20-25 gallons. One that wont let the heat out, but not let the tank to hot. It has a lot of plants to act as the filters, something about sea shells for the plants, and the live bearers are supposed to grow alot quicker and do alot better in that environment because natural occuring foods grown in the water outside.

20-25 gallons is a pretty big bucket. more like a tub

yeah, but that is what the artical said. A bucket. Or really whatever you can find I guess.
