Any Ideas?

I have 2 big pregnant female swordys that are pregnant. I have never gotten to save the fry because I always let them give birth in the main tank and the fry all get eaten They are too big for a breeder trap.... Is there any other way I can save the fry? Any ideas?

the only thing i can think of is to put the sords in a 10~15gallon tank then after birf take the adalts out.

When I want to insure saving some fry I move my swordie girls to a 10 gallon heavily planted tank. I put in tons of plants and cover the bottom with glass marbles. I try to provide as much cover for the fry to hide in as possible (and still leave the mother to be with some room to swim).
