I recently purchased a metal stand that holds two 29 gallons, on the bottom i have my 10 and a 2.5 gallon. On the top is my empty 29 except for the cleaned sand, light, and HOB filter. I was wondering what kind of fish to place in it, I was thinking some fish on the larger scale, if so what would you recommend? I have a 4" pleco to stick in there too.

I also was thinking of ordering Weather Loach's off the internet for my tank, do you think they would survive the trip? I researched them and they grow around a foot but thats the largest, the average is around 5-6''.

Seeing as you have a sand bottom, corys would love it. Half a dozen sterbai or julii corys would be nice. What type of plec do you have? If the plec stays small, I'd start with 4 or 5 small angels, as they grow, you may get a pair. Sell the non-paired angels back to the lfs, you may make a profit as they will be larger, you should at least break even. Within a year you have nice looking tank with a pair of angels as the centerpiece, and a crew to keep the tank clean, cutting down on your maintainance time.

With the sand bottom horse faced loaches would enjoy that.

khuli loaches. they are like 4 inches. you can get some rams too
Another nice thing about khuli loaches is even though they get a little bit of size to them the 1 inch per gallon rules doesn't really apply as much. They would also love the sandy bottom.
