Any Guitarists?

I have never really played guitar and don't know the difference between good and bad guitars. I want an acoustic guitar and I can't spend a lot of money (less than 200 bucks) or I could try to located a used one for a good price. Any pointers at all would be wonderful.

Oh and I guess it's stupid I didn't mention American Folk.

Look for an ovation if you can find one, they're good for folk. Otherwise I always look for the guitar with the fattest body I can find, creates a good tone.
