Does anyone know a black sand-like substrate that is easy to get hold of an suitable for an aquarium? It's going to have a few plants in but not many so it doesn't need to be that good for plants. I don't want it to be sharp and it has to be quite fine too.
Thanks in advance,
Neal

How big of a bag would 20lb be? would it be enough to fill it 20gallon with quite a thick layer of sand?
Also, would it be possible to get in a shop as I know my mam probably wouldn't order it online, and it will probably cost more in delivery than the sand itself.
Thanks,
Neal
