Any advise on Java Moss

I have a 30 gal

With 5 molies
6 Guppies
1 nice Iridesent Shark Nice One
bunch of snails

Am getting some Java Moss for Helping Breeding

I have some salt in the water for the guppies and mollies
1 teaspoon per 5 gallons

Will it hurt the java moss ? Does java moss grow Fast ?
Should i put at bottom of tank or top ?

Java moss can be used in brackish tanks, so I guess it won't hurt the moss.How fast it'll grow? That's going to depend on lighting I should think... Put the plant at the top or bottom? And don't Irridesent Sharks grow kinda big?

Irridesent Sharks well he about 1 and 1/2 years old and is 4 inches
Can grow big seen one 2 feet but take long time and have to be lucky i guess
