I have two that bully the others mercilessly.
They spend the majority of their time in an isolation tank, sometimes I try them back in one of the coldies tanks, just to see if they have shaped up, but they just can't be nice. The two of them chase the others all over the place, they almost killed one of my other shubs
they had him pinned on the floor and were biting him, he was too scared to move and I had to put him in another tank (moved his best buddy with him) because even after they were gone he just sat stone still on the floor looking freaked out, while his little friend nudged and poked him, like "you alright buddy?".
These two are about to go to the lfs to try to find another home because they are real bad lads. I really don't understand them, it doesn't matter where I put them, they both just get going, being bully fish. If I split them up, I then end up with two tanks of bullied fish, so they keep ending up back in isolation and just hang out together. They are NEVER aggressive towards each other. They are just thugs I guess.
Any good ideas anyone? Ever had a fish that just could not get on with the others? I have a mix of boys and girls, goldies and fancy goldies and shubs, some a bit smaller, some a lot bigger, but wherever they go, they just start the same old shoot as soon as I put them in.
Psycho fish.
(Oh this isn't really an emergency, I shouldn't have put it here, take your time answering, they are not going anywhere tonight.)
