Hi,
I'm doing a rework on one of my tanks and after being badly let down on my Tropica order through Birstall garden centre (some items not ordered, some covered in algae and some badly damaged) I'm doing the re work with the plants I have.
I know many aquarium plants are not grown fully submerged, but does anybody know if Anubais Bart 'nana' petite will grow with the roots in water and the leaves above the surface ?
Basically it will be attached to bogwood with the leaves above the water, there is a constant supply of water running down the bogwood (mini waterfall effect), the water flows around the base of the plant and over the roots. The roots should soon grow down over the wood and into the water.
I'm fairly happy that the roots will have a constant supply of water, but will this be enough for the plant to grow.
Thanks
Mr G
