Anubias

Maybe this should be in the ID Biology section but oh well. Was wondering if Anubias Bonsai will grow emersed? After shuffling Cuban Delight yesterday I split my Anubias rhizome in two places and now have 3. One is now emersed, I didn't plan this but after planting the wood and adding it to the tank some comes up out of the water and one of the three Anubias has the rhizome submersed but the leaves are emersed so was wondering if it will be ok?

all anubias can be grown emersed in the right conditions, they will flower regularly emersed as well. They do go through a transition if they have been grown in your tank submersed.

Cool I'll see what it does it's only 1cm rhizome at the mo with about 5 leaves so it won't be to big a spike if it melts first.

I used to let my anubias grow out of the tank and it grew really well, the leaves go lighter and change shape a little but looked great.
