Anubias nana

I have an Anubias nana that has attached itself to some slate. It's been growing on the slate for about 4 months now. Is it possible to detach it from the rock without causing any damage to the plant. I have a piece of driftwood that I'd like to attach it to.

Should be fine. Just be careful when prying the roots off the slate.

Thanks. Does it matter if the roots are above the substrate, or should I bury them? I noticed some roots above the substrate, but the plant seems to be doing well. I have the rhizome above the gravel.

Keep the roots above the substrate. Buried roots may rot on Anubias nana.
