Hi all, Been a few years since I was last here.
I met some great people on this site & have done deals with Fishy stuff for Sale, Swaps etc etc.
I used to have a 150L Peaceful Community tank with Danios, Neons, Corys. Then I introduced Guppies & it just got to much, Tank maintenance, Running to LFS to swap fry for foods, at the time we had a young baby (Since had 2 more) & I was working shifts so i gave up the fishy thing & sold everything, Except for a 10 Gallon which I had kept running in the background until last week when I bought a 110L (25 Gallon I think)
So hopefully will be starting back up again

Welcome back!
Ah yes, I know the guppy problem well, have been keeping them for the last 18 months, and reduced the number of females I keep because the constant rounds of sorting and sexing and taking batches to the store gets wearing after a while. Avoid livebearers if time is limited! ;)

Welcome back to the hobby and of course welcome back to the forum! :hi:

I have just recently returned as well after a couple of years due to moving house, young kid and just generally life goes on without your tanks, and before you know it, wow where did all the time go!

Hope to hear more of your 110 L / 30 gal tank when its all set up and running.

Thanks for the welcome back.
Yes the livebearer can be a pain if you don't have much time. I'm a bit older now & hopefully wiser .
I've always had a tank up & running but my 10 Gallon was a little boring, Not much going on in there at all.
Originally my 10 Gallon had 5 Zebra Danios & a pair of bronze corys.
So I kept on saying I would buy a bigger tank
As my Danios died off & 1 of my bronze corys died a few yrs later I needed to get more fish but then another 2 yrs passed by
I managed to keep 1 bronze cory in a tank on her own for 2 yrs & recently put her in my new tank where she is now & still happy, so I got her a couple of friends

New tank has been up & running for a little over a week now & has 3 Bronze Corys & 4 Zebra Danios, So will see how it goes
Welcome back! I got rid of all my live bearers in favor of egg layers. Much better! Your Cory is probably excited to have some friends. :)

Surprisingly the Cory seemed fine on its own, Had all the food for itself and although not huge but had a full 10 gallon tank all to its self. I did sort of get used to just dropping food in & not even looking at the tank, only water changes done maybe once a month. But i felt sorry for it after 2 years & gave it 2 tiny bronze corys. I have pics but not great ones

This is the Cory I've had for 3 yrs

Such a problem to have. Too many guppies. Give them away to grade school age kids. Help start the next generation of aquarium hobbyists. I started out with guppies in 1965 and I still like them. Can't pass an aquarium full of them without stopping to look.
The guppies I had I gave loads away on this site, I was shocked how many babies they had, Around the same time I found lots of eggs from my Bronze Corys, so I was over run. Unfortunately no cory fry survived, I had a small fluval sponge filter at the time and they all got sucked up, I found them too late

Welcome back from a newcomer!
Zebra Danios are beautiful fish, especially in large groups ♡. Maybe you cam snatch a few more?
