another pirahna newbie

hi guys
i am about to obtain a 9inch red belly pirahna (loner)
it has a 4ft x12inch x15 inch tank with twin power head under gravel filters
so i have a few questions to ask

1. can further pirahnas be introduced later
2 can any other fish than plecos be kept with pirahnas
3 are real plants ok to be in the tank or will she rip them up as i like natural tanks
4 do they like hidy holes (bogwood,caves)
5 the guy i am getting her off says he feeds her prawns and mussels twice a week is this diet ok
6 and will it have a go at me fingers whilst cleaning glass

also any other info would be greatly appreciated

i had 3 red bellys about a year ago. they were small though about 3 1/2in. i had them with my 27in arowana (a recent death), and a 4 lined catfish. i never saw any problems with them harassing the other fish. the pretty much would just dart back and forth in the tank, really active guys. i had to get rid of them because they always ate the food before my arowana could get his share. i feed them everything, mainly feeders, sliced shrimp, and beef heart, as that was what i was feeding my aro. the diet you said seems fine. i dont know how yours would do with other pirahnas, but im sure it wouldnt matter. if i remember parihnas are schooling fish and do well in groups. you should refer to this article too http/fish.orbust.net/forums/index.php?ac...=ST&f=15&t=7056. good luck
