I bought it as a Tang, the place didn't say what kind, just that "It's very expensive, but I'll give it to you cheap"

I first thought it could be Ctenochromis horei, but could it be something else, maybe a Malawian?

Sorry dude, not much of a clue. Could it be genus geophagus... the earth-eating cichlids?

How about this?

Someone ssaid it could be a Boulengerochromis microlepis....I sure hope it's not...

it could be a Boulengerochromis microlepis it also might be a hybrid.

What kind of fishes could be possible? I mean, what could the parents be, if it were a hybrid?

AFter personally seeing 4 WC adults, the body structure of this fish is something I have only seen in B. microlepis...

take the picture to cichlid-forum.com
many more people with a deeper knowledge of cichlids.
tons of breeders too

Officially described as Boulengerochromis microlepis!

Dang......How can I kep this monster?!

if you dont already have one or plans for 150 gallon OR MORE tank the best thing to do is take it back.
