greetings from Nova Scotia Canada! I set up my first little tank about a year ago, it had 3 female bettas in it, one female turned out to be male, but anyhow, that went over well for a while but then they all died 
so I got a new male betta who has a 5.5 gallon to himself. I just got a CT betta who lives in a 2 gallon bowl. and i have a 10 gallon tank with 3 baby platy's, a guppy trio, 4 corydora's, and a golden apple snail. I have a 2 gallon tank with a female betta in it. and a little container thing with my guppy fry, about 20 of them. i have a 15 galon that i aquired free which is in the shop getting a replacement panel fitted because it was broken, and in 2 days Im buying another 10 gallon. phew. so far im enjoying fish, even though my guppies keep kicking off on me, I think I was buying lousy stock. so yea, here I am! i've been looking for a good tropical fish fourm for a while.
