Hi there, loving this forum, lots and lots of great information

taking my time reading it all.

waiting a couple of months until I move house then I'm planning to set up an African tank, with Definatly, Butterfly fish in it... want to match the tank to make it reasonably realistic in terms of fish that are living in it... i.e. all from a similar area of africa, all from similar types of habitat, same with plants (etc)... lots of research for me there then...

never had a tropical fish tank before but I used to breed Dendrobatids(poison frogs) and tree frogs so I've plenty of spare tanks kicking about I can make a nice set up with.

:hi: to the forum.

There's a forum for African Cichlids on here, and the plants and beginner's section would also be places for you to go to if you have questions.

Well, as you'll soon discover, if you haven't already, that is, your main tank should be as big as possible since you might want to expand and whatnot. Therefore, your current terrariums/aquariums would probably be best used for individual species and rearing fry, unless, of course, these tanks are bigger than the 10 gallon tanks frequently used for frogs.

Speaking of which, have you stopped breeding the frogs, or have you stopped keeping them alltogether?

Anyways, glad to have you with us, and I am sure that you will find spending time on here very fruitful.

had to stop keeping frogs when my now ex girlfriend put her foot down, it wasn't the frogs that annoyed her it was the crickets that kept escaping and keeping her awake all night from behind the boiler... I gave away my biggest tank which was 6'x2'x3' to a friend who keeps catfish, I've still got plenty of reasonable sized one's left though, I used to landscape the tanks to be as natural as possible so I tended to use as large as I could

There definately is a lot to learn here. I found that out too when I was a newbie. ANYWAYS, :hi: to the forums tenmanS14 :D. Just keep on reading :D
