Another newbie here.

Another newbie here. A little introduction so you know what at what point I am. I just got my 2.5 gallon tank w/filter and betta yesterday at a local pet store. I went through all the water conditioning, and fish acclimation, and he seems to be doing well. I have 1 fake plant, and a castle in the corner that he can hide behind. Am working on growing 3 plants, and once these take hold will get rid of the fake one. Have been thinking of getting a couple ghost shrimp to keep "Matrim" company as I have heard that these are some of the best and most compatible tank mates. I will probably wait till my tank gets through it's cycle before adding them as the increas in ammonium will just stress Matrim more. After getting Matrim I started looking for furums, and after reviewing several, this one seems to be the most informative, organized, and friendly. I hope to have many happy years with matrim with the help that I am positive I will be able to find here.
