this week the 5 adult Tin Foils move to a different tank… greatly reducing the bioload, and tank space in use… Allowing me to even more deeply dive into the Hillstream’s…

I've got 4 of these on their way…

Tin Foil tank is full of blended water ( topped it off with RO ) which means my manifold is done for 2 regional lines, my main tank group, and the other side of the house to the new Tin Foil tank… it’ll still be a couple days, until the RO catches up from filling the Tin Foil tank, I have a new, modified, Tidal 75 running in that tank, as well as still have a dozen Pothos vines… I’ll transfer a couple of the filter sponges over to the new tank… I am intentionally running double sponges in the Hillstream tank currently, so I could move a couple over… big changes, probably Thursday, before I’ll have time to introduce fish to the newly set up tank

3rd valve, with no one attached yet, will run upstairs to the 250 gallon tank, when I get it in place… this manifold sits just left of my RO unit… you can see the edge of the plate that holds the pressure pump for the RO efficiency, and the filters, on the right edge of this picture

Oooh, very cool loaches on my wish list! Can you say where you got them? (or pm me, please?) I'll reiterate my stiphodon goby suggestion, you have more room now without the barbs ;)

Well, at least these won’t be to hard to identify in the tank.. other than the other 2 saddle backs…

My tigers have gotten tough to identify.. some just have tiger tails, some have red tails, and today, added 2 more with blue tails… up next to the tank. I can see 4-5 tigers, but unless they flair their tails, you can’t see the color…

Test canary in the Tin Foil tank today, 4 yellow fin spot tail algae eaters… they have found each other, and a schooling around, exploring the tank… if they are fine by Thursday night, the Tin Foils will be transferred…
FOB….

The Red Lizards above, are shipping next week, to arrive on Wednesday, so hopefully the tank will have settled down, after transferring the TF’s... a lotta water going to get splashed, moving them…

The juvenal Spot Tails ( FOB ) above ( Crossocheilus reticulatus ) all made it through the night... so they worked as a "canary" now to get biological filter elements moved over, so I can get the Tin Foils moved over...
picture of adult Spot Tails, below... they get to around 6 inches according to Seriously Fish, so, should be a good tank mate for the Tin Foils

Fish came in looking good, albeit tiny…

Got to be careful with the Panda Garas… too curious and personable… I think I accidentally munched one working on the pagodas after moving the Tin Foils out… I dug one out today, haven’t lost anything in this tank for well over 6 months

Starting to color up a little after a half hour

The biggest of the new ones. Sharing the favorite roots with one of my previous saddle backs, and another unidentified…
