Another N00b

Hi everyone, just dropping in a quick hello during my lunch break. Been a while since I've been a newbie on a forum so please be gentle

Fish keeping is my "other" hobby after cars, but over the last 9 months I've gathered quite a collection. I currently have a 175l tropical setup with:
2 x Angel Fish
1 x brown plec
1 x albino (golden?) plec
3 x botia
3 x mollies
3 x plateys
4 x guaramis

I used to have a load of mollies but they just kept dying so hence the wide spread of species in the tank now. I'm hoping to breed something, probably the angels but at the moment my girlfriend and I are trying to keep these fish alive for a while before we look into getting another tank.

i never thought about keeping angelfish what they like to look after?

dont mollies like slightly salty water thats maybe why they died? not to sure though

aj - yeah the mollies were fine to start with then when the first few died i started putting some salt in. Currently the setup I have has about 0.1 - 0.2% salt (I use aqualibrium). The angels are really easy to keep, they eat the crisps we feed the others and once a week they get a frozen bloodworm cube as a supplement.

thanks, I try to keep them happy.

Just picked up two dwarf gouramis last weekend to make the numbers up to 4. We now have 2 blue ones and two red/blue striped ones. The angels are doing well too, when I got them they were about 5-6cm tall now and they are probably nearly 3 times that now. The mollies I have now are the babies of my original mollies. The first day I put fish in the tank that evening one of them gave birth to about 20 babies! About 12 of them survived and I gave some away and have 3 of them left now. There are more pics on flickr but you will need to look around in my other photo sets I think.
